Don Bernardo García Salas, vecino y natural de la Villa de Gijón, Principado de Asturias, hijo legítimo de los difuntos don Matías García Salas Valdéz y de doña Catarina Valdéz Llanos, casado con doña María García Cubillas y próximo a realizar viaje a los Reinos de Castilla, otorga su testamento, en el cual nombra como albacea en este reino a don Pedro Álvarez Cantón, vecino de la Ciudad de Guadalajara, para el Reino de Castilla a don Matías Valdéz Argüelles, vecino de Cádiz, y para su patria a don Marcos García Salas y su hijo Mateo, vecinos de la citada Villa de Gijón, y como herederos designa a sus hijos legítimos Mateo, Juan, Felipe, Teresa y Maria.
