Don Bartolomé de la Torre, natural de Colindres de las Montañas del Arzobispado de Burgos, en los Reinos de Castilla y residente en el pueblo de Jalapa, hijo legítimo de don Juan de la Torre Meléndez y doña Antonia de Montes Mazo, vivos, próximo a realizar viaje a los Reinos de Castilla, otorga su testamento, en el cual nombra como albaceas a sus citados padres, en su lugar de origen; en estos reinos nombra como albaceas al Sargento Mayor don Pedro de Alvarado, a don Manuel de la Concha y a don Fausto Gutiérrez Gayón, y en la Ciudad de Cádiz a don Jerónimo de la Meza Alvarado, vecino de dicha ciudad, y como herederos nombra a sus citados padres.
