El Capitán Don Diego de Orduña Loyando, vecino de la ciudad de Los Ángeles, residente en su ingenio nombrado San Pedro, en esta jurisdicción, dio su poder cumplido a Doña Gerónima de Espinosa Bonifaz, viuda del Capitán Juan de Mancilla, regidor de la ciudad de México, para que lo pueda obligar como su fiador hasta en la cantidad de 3 000 pesos, en los 20 000 que por mandato de los señores presidente y oidores de la Real Chancillería de Nueva España, ordenaron afianzar en el remate que se hizo en el Capitán Antonio Hernández de Mancilla del ingenio de azúcar y haciendas de ganado mayor que quedaron por fin y muerte del Regidor Luis Pacho Mejía, en esta jurisdicción y en la de La Antigua Veracruz.
