Don Antonio de Orduña Loyando, dueño de este ingenio, salió como fiador de Francisco de Orduña, persona en quien la justicia de esta provincia le dio en arrendamiento el Ingenio de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios y las haciendas de ganado mayor que quedaron por fin y muerte del regidor Luis Pacho Mejía, hasta en la cantidad de 2000 pesos de común. Aunque más adelante, Don Antonio dio poder al susodicho para que hiciese la fianza por 3000 pesos.
