Don José María Lasquetti, hijo de los difuntos don José Lasquetti y doña María Roy, soltero, natural de Cádiz, otorga poder para testar a don Francisco Javier de Zavala, a don José Arias y Torija, a don Liborio Clausell y a don Manuel García Herreros, residentes en Jalapa, por si llegase a morir en el trayecto a España, y a sus hermanos don Sebastián Lasquetti y don Diego Lasquetti, a don Pedro Smitds y a don José Sáenz de Santa María, Presbítero, vecino de Cádiz, para que ordenen su testamento, donde declara que el caudal que posee constará en sus libros, por albaceas nombra a todos los antes mencionados, a los 4 últimos con la obligación de dar cuentas a los primeros; nombra herederos del remanente de sus bienes a Sebastián y Diego Lasquetti, Juan Pedro de Smidts y José Sáenz de Santa María
