Mariana Cortés, hija legítima de José Cortés y de María Rodríguez, natural de Jalapa, ordena su testamento; declara tener como bienes la casa de su morada, una esclava llamada María Isabel, José Cayetano de 8 años y a Antonia de la Rosa de 6 años, hijos de su esclava María Isabel a quien deja sujeta a servidumbre para que ayude a su madre hasta que muera y después podrá pagar 200 pesos por su rescate y con ello se le digan algunas misas rezadas; manda que su esclavo José Cayetano se ponga como aprendiz de oficio y cuando tenga edad suficiente, quede libre de toda sujeción. Nombra como albacea testamentaria y heredera universal a su madre María Rodríguez. \r\n
