Don Antonio Vázquez Ruiz, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, arrendatario de los Mayorazgos de don José Leonel Gómez de Cervantes y la Higuera, de los Ingenios el Grande y el Chico, y la trasquila nombrada la Higuera, otorga a don Mateo Antonio Ortiz de Zárate y don Antonio Mateo Ortiz de Zárate, hermanos y Clérigos Presbíteros, Domiciliarios del Obispado de la Puebla, el arrendamiento de la hacienda de ganado mayor nombrada Santa Fe, por el periodo de 9 años, con una paga de 1, 350 pesos por cada año, constituyendo como fiadores a don Francisco de Ortega, don Francisco de Escalona y don Luis de Zárate con su madre doña Felipa de Jesús de Acosta, viuda de don Juan José Ortiz de Zárate.
