Don Alejandro Gómez Rada, natural de la provincia de Liébana, obispado de León, en los reinos de Castilla, vecino de la Ciudad de Guadalajara y residente en esta Villa de Xalapa, soltero, hijo legítimo de don Antonio Gómez y doña Francisca Gutiérrez, difunta, otorga su testamento en el cual declara haber hecho en la Plaza de Veracruz una negociación de efectos que vienen caminando con sus correspondientes guías al cuidado del arriero Antonio Meléndez. Declara que debe ciertas cantidades a varios comerciantes de Veracruz, de los cuales hace mención en dicho testamento. Nombra por albaceas a don José de la Lama, junto con don Pablo Fraile de Santa María, del comercio de Veracruz. Sin mencionar herederos.
