Doña Aldonza Clara de Vargas, mujer legítima de Andrés Vázquez, residente en Jalapa, dijo que a los 7 días del mes de abril del presente año, dio poder a su marido para diferentes efectos en este pueblo, y por cuanto el susodicho trata de vender unos esclavos mulatos nombrados Antonia y Simón, a Lorenzo González y al Capitán Juan Hurtado, vecinos de Veracruz, que forman parte de sus bienes dotales, y por no haberle hecho carta ni recibo de su dote, revocó el poder dado para que no pasen adelante dichas ventas.
