Don Luis de Medina, clérigo, presbítero, cura de la provincia de Jalapa, y administrador del ingenio Nuestra Señora de los Remedios que quedó por fin y muerte del Regidor Luis Pacho Mejía, se obligó junto con el dicho ingenio a pagar a Don Diego de Rojas, vecino de Jalapa, 144 pesos de oro común, precio de cuatro machos que le compró para el avío del ingenio, a 36 pesos cada uno, para desde el 15 de julio pasado de este año en 18 meses, cada seis meses la tercera parte, con las costas de la cobranza.
