Don Florencio Murillo y don Juan Domingo de Homar, de esta vecindad, dijeron que en el juzgado pende causa criminal contra don Juan Martínez, preso en la Real Cárcel desde hace dos meses por las heridas que infirió contra Sebastián Vilchis, Sargento primero del Regimiento fijo de Veracruz, cuya curación del herido ha sido con buen progreso y certificación del alivio por el cirujano, por lo que el reo ha solicitado se le excarcele bajo fianza. Los otorgantes se constituyen en sus fiadores y carceleros comentariense a favor del mencionado Martínez.
