Diego Ortiz Durán, natural de este pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que hace unos días le faltó un caballo de su propiedad, de color sabino, el cual estaba en poder de Juan de Guzmán, mestizo, vecino de este pueblo de Jalapa y vecino del compareciente; dicho caballo fue recuperado en la venta de La Joya y rancho del Alférez Antonio de Córdoba, por lo que pide a vuestra merced se sirva mandar parecer ante si a dicho Juan de Guzmán y hacerle le pague el flete de dicho caballo, el gasto de comidas de las ventas, y su trabajo y de otros 2 que fueron con él a hacer dichas diligencias y las demás cosas que sustrajo de su casa, un cerdo y maíz
