Don José Camino y Velasco, residente en el pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que don Pablo Agustín de Samaniego, Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, residente en la Villa y Corte de Madrid, otorgó poder a don Francisco Antonio de Aguirre y Gomendio, difunto de la misma orden, a don Francisco de San Juan, que hoy reside en los Reinos de Castilla, y al otorgante, para que en su nombre y como heredero de Carlos de Samaniego y Pacheco, pudieran pedir, tomar y aprehender la tenencia y posesión de todos los bienes de don Carlos, con las cláusulas que para su validación convengan.
