Teresa García, viuda de Miguel de Troya, traspasó al Capitán Don Fernando Ruiz de Córdoba y Arellano, vecino de la nueva Veracruz y residente en este pueblo, el ingenio de Maxtlatlán con las tierras, aguas, esclavos, casas y demás aperos que le pertenecen; y en atención de dicho traspaso, Don Fernando Ruiz de Córdoba y Arellano, reconocerá todos los censos, capellanías y obligaciones cargados en el citado ingenio, los cuales suman 5988 pesos de oro común y 54 panes de azúcar del diezmo. Asimismo, le dará de sus bienes 800 pesos de oro común, pagaderos a ciertos plazos.
