Sebastián Hernández, vecino de Jalapa, puso por aprendiz a su hijo Diego Hernández, de 13 a 14 años de edad, en el oficio de zapatero con el maestro Luis de Guzmán, vecino de este pueblo, por tiempo de cuatro años, a partir del 1 de enero del presente año, durante los cuales le ha de dar de comer, ropa limpia, y curar en sus enfermedades; y al fin de los 4 años, le ha de dar la herramienta necesaria como se acostumbra, calzón, ropilla, capote, una camisa de Ruán, un jubón, medias, zapatos y un sombrero.
