Don José Antonio de la Peña Vallastra, vecino de esta Villa, usando del poder para testar que tiene otorgado del difunto don Juan Manuel del Cotarro, del comercio de la Nueva Veracruz, declara el testamento de dicho difunto, en el que señala; fue hijo de don Francisco del Cotarro y Bodega, y de doña Francisca de Sopeña, natural de Somorrostro, en el Señorío de Vizcaya, mandó dar a su hermana doña Josefa del Cotarro los bienes raíces que poseía en Somorrostro, que a su ahijado de bautismo don Nemesio Cardeña se le den 200 pesos por el buen servicio que debió a su padre don Juan Francisco Cardeña, lo nombró albacea y heredero junto con don Fernando de Cubas y a don Joaquín de Bárcena.\t
