Pedro Díaz Matamoros y su esposa, Catalina López, vecinos de Jalapa, dieron su poder a Domingo Alonso, piloto de carrera de esta Nueva España, vecino de la Villa de Ayamonte, en los reinos de Castilla, para que como verdadero señor de unas casas y viña en la citada villa, pida y demande a Juan Báez el valor de la dicha viña y redime el censo, como era obligado, que tienen impuesto las casas, con el fin de librarlas del referido cargo.
