Don Antonio de Orduña Loyando, dueño de este ingenio, salió por fiador de Francisco de Orduña hasta en la cantidad de 3000 pesos de oro común cuando le fuere dada la administración del ingenio Nuestra Señora de los Remedios y las haciendas de ganado mayor nombradas El Hato Grande, ubicadas en la jurisdicción de La Antigua Veracruz, que quedaron por fin y muerte del regidor Luis Pacho Mejía.
