Don Miguel de Mendiburu e Irigoyen, del Comercio de España y residente en este pueblo de Jalapa, exhibió una escritura en copia hecha en el puerto de la Guaira, provincia de Venezuela y Caracas el 27 de julio de 1772 en la que don Juan Luis de Jáuregui, Capitán Maestre y Administrador de la Fragata nombrada la Santísima Trinidad, quien se obliga a pagar al otorgante la cantidad de 580 pesos, que por hacerle bien y buena obra, le suplió a riesgo de mar don Pedro Martín de Iriarte en dicho puerto, por su cuenta y riesgo y de los interesados de la marca “AA”, cuya cantidad declara haber recibido del dicho Capitán por lo que da por cancelada la escritura de obligación.
