El Capitán Juan de Vargas Basurto y de la Cueva, Alcalde Mayor y Capitán a Guerra, Juez de Caminos, Registros y otras comisiones, en virtud de la facultad que por su título se le concede, nombra por su Lugarteniente de los pueblos de Maltrata, Acultzingo y sus distritos de esta jurisdicción a Francisco de Andrada, natural de la provincia de Tepeaca, residente en este pueblo de Orizaba, para que como tal ejerza justicia a las partes civil y criminal, sustanciando las causas que se ofrecieren hasta la sumaria, y prisión de los reos, por lo que exhorta a los vecinos y habitantes de dichos pueblos a que lo tengan como tal.
