Don José de Ceballos y Burgos, Don Roque Gutiérrez de Ceballos y Don Alonso Gutiérrez de Ceballos, vecinos de esta jurisdicción, dijeron que Sebastián de Prado, vecino de Orizaba, de muchos días a esta parte les ha hecho diferentes préstamos y otros beneficios, y con su ayuda pudieron terminar la fábrica de un nuevo ingenio de azúcar llamado Nuestra Señora del Rosario. Por el presente, sin condición alguna, hicieron gracia y donación al susodicho de 2500 panes de azúcar purgados, secos y bien acondicionados, los un mil para de la fecha de esta carta en veinte mese, y los restantes, de allí en dos años, puestos en el Ingenio Nuestra Señora de la Concepción.
