Don Juan Salmonte y Taboada, Alcalde Ordinario de la Ciudad de México y residente en el pueblo de Jalapa, otorga poder general a don Eliseo Antonio Llanos de Vergara, vecino de dicha ciudad y residente del mismo pueblo, para que pida, demande y cobre todas las cantidades que por alcances y pleitos le deban, así como los productos que han venido de los Reinos de Castilla, pidiendo autorización para embarcar y registrar cualquier partida de plata, reales, cueros, grana y otras especies que el otorgante mande en los navíos de guerra de la presente flota al mando del Teniente General Carlos Regio.
