El Alférez Sebastián de Flores Moreno, vecino y mercader en el pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que hace como 3 años vendió a Melchor García, difunto dueño de recua del Desierto de Perote, un negro esclavo de 24 años más o menos nombrado Manuel Antonio, que compró en la almoneda judicial de los bienes que quedaron por muerte de Juan de Thormes, en 350 pesos de oro común, por el cual no tiene escritura y la solicita para poder venderlo, por tanto otorga duplicado de la escritura de venta, y se da por entregado a su satisfacción.
