El Bachiller Juan Bernardo Díaz Mier, Clérigo Presbítero de este Obispado y vecino de Jalapa, apoderado de su padre Domingo Díaz Mier, otorga que da en arrendamiento a don José María Ponce de León, un rancho en tierras del Lencero, por 7 años, contados desde el día 22 de agosto de 1776, mismo que le tenía arrendado a Bernardo Gómez, el cual linda con la cerca del otorgante y el río que va inmediato a la venta vieja, que es la que divide las tierras que tenía dicho Bernardo Gómez, cuyos ranchos y tierras, a excepción del paraje nombrado La Bolsa. El arrendamiento se hace en 30 pesos anuales.
