Don Miguel de Palacios, Capitán de Fragata de la Real Armada, residente en esta Villa de Xalapa, otorga poder general a don Antonio Ortiz, Contador de Navío de la Real Armada, embargado en el bergantín guarda costas El Galeta, para que en su nombre pida, demande, reciba y cobre de manera judicial o extrajudicial a cualquier persona, todas las cantidades que le deban, así para que lo represente en todos sus pleitos, causas y negocios civiles, criminales, eclesiásticos y seculares, lo defienda y demande, para lo cual comparezca ante el Rey, sus reales audiencias, superior gobierno, jueces, justicias y tribunales superior e inferior y de ambos fueros.
