Don Mariano Mata, vecino de esta jurisdicción de Jalapa, dijo que don Luis Antonio Ortiz de Zárate, arrendatario de los mayorazgos de don José Leonel Gómez de Cervantes y la Higuera, le subarrendó por 4 años, del 1 de septiembre de 1771 a hasta el mismo día de 1775, la Venta nombrada de Plan del Río en esta jurisdicción por la cantidad de 100 pesos anuales; ahora otorga que traspasa dicho subarrendamiento a don Bartolomé de la Riva, con las mismas condiciones y por el mismo tiempo.
