Don José de Ugarte, vecino de este pueblo de Jalapa, como albacea de don Francisco Pérez de Arellano, dijo que entre varios esclavos que por bienes de dicho difunto, quedó una mulata nombrada Antonia Horencia, hija de Dominga, esclava de dicho difunto y de Horencio, libre, mujer que es hoy de Mariano Rangel, quien con su personal trabajo, de lo que ha ido ganando de mayordomo en un rancho del difunto, le ha entregado 200 pesos por el valor de dicha Antonia, su mujer, por lo que otorga que ahorra y liberta a la susodicha Antonia, de la esclavitud y cautiverio a que estaba sujeta.
