El Licenciado Don Juan de Bañuelos Cabeza de Vaca, clérigo, residente en esta provincia, y el Capitán Don Antonio de Orduña Loyando, dueño de ingenio de hacer azúcar, dieron su poder cumplido a Don Nicolás de Bañuelos, vecino de la ciudad de Los Angeles, para que los obligue, al primero como principal deudor y al segundo como su fiador, en la cantidad de pesos que montare el remate del diezmo de maíz, semillas, ganados y legumbres de esta provincia, del año pasado de 1654; y el diezmo de azúcar y mieles que debiere hasta fin de dicho año, el ingenio de La Santísima Trinidad del Capitán Don Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros, según se acostumbra rematarse por los señores hacedores de los diezmos de este obispado.
