Don Pedro Antonio González Peñalba [Pedro González de Peñalba], de esta vecindad, manifiesta que en 15 de diciembre de 1802 vendió extrajudicialmente, por medio de un documento simple, un negrito esclavo de un día de nacido, llamado José Santiago, hijo natural de su esclava María de Jesús, a favor de don Antonio Guzmán Grant, de esta vecindad. Tratando de reducir esta venta a instrumento público, para seguridad del comprador, otorga que vendió al citado Guzmán, el referido esclavo, que al presente tiene 4 años y medio, por precio de 25 pesos que recibió del comprador.
