Agustín Velázquez y María Rodríguez, vecinos del pueblo de Jalapa, dijeron que han tratado que José Antonio de Santa Ana se case con Gertrudis Margarita Velásquez Zavala, su hija legítima y para que tenga efecto y sustenten sus obligaciones, le prometen por dote 12 yeguas con 1 caballo, 6 caballos mansos, 10 vacas, la mitad de la casa en que viven con la mitad del solar, bajo los linderos que contiene la escritura cargada con 200 pesos de censo; entregar a su hija vestida; los bienes los entregarán cuando tenga efecto el matrimonio. Él por su parte, manda en arras prometer nupcias a Gertrudis Margarita, 200 pesos que se consignan en el rancho de labor que posee en términos de este pueblo para que gocen de los privilegios.
