Doña María Nicolasa de Torquemada, viuda de don Agustín Suárez, y sus tres hijos el Señor don José Suárez, Cura, Vicario y Juez Eclesiástico de esta Doctrina; el Bachiller don Miguel Suárez y don Carlos Suárez, Presbítero, vecinos de Jalapa, dijeron que condujeron por varias cañerías una porción considerable de agua desde el Chorrito del Xallitic hasta una fuente que tienen en el patio de su casa y de donde se abastecen ellos y sus vecinos, don Bartolomé de Borja y su esposa doña María de Acosta, a quienes le vendieron una parte, y debido al constante derrame y desperdicio de agua de dicha fuente, venden a doña María Josefa Ruiz de Morales, viuda de don Juan Antonio de Zavalza, y a su hijo el Bachiller don José Zavalza todo el referido derrame por la cantidad de 100 pesos de oro.
