Don Antonio de Orduña Loyando, dueño del ingenio San Pedro Buenavista, dio su poder cumplido a Pedro González del Castillo, su mayordomo, para que en su nombre rija, gobierne y administre su ingenio de fabricar azúcar, y otros cualesquier bienes raíces y muebles, quitando y poniendo mayordomos, por los precios, tiempos y salarios que le pareciere; y para que pueda comprar negros esclavos, bueyes, mulas y otros aperos. Asimismo, lo pueda obligar hasta en la cantidad de 2000 pesos para dicho avío y reparos; y para que pueda recibir, haber y cobrar cualesquier pesos de oro, plata, joyas, esclavos y mercaderías que le deban o debieren. Y generalmente, para en todos sus pleitos, causas civiles y criminales que al presente tiene o adelante tuviere.
