Don Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros, residente en su ingenio Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, dio su poder cumplido a Diego de Villagrán y a Melchor López de Haro, residentes en la ciudad de México, procuradores en la Real Audiencia; y a Juan de Sabalza[Juan de Zavalza] y a Cristóbal de Lozana Salazar, generalmente para en todos sus pleitos, causas civiles y criminales, movidos o por mover, especialmente para que ocurran ante el señor Marqués de Cerralvo, virrey de la Nueva España, y ante los señores presidente y oidores de la Real Audiencia, y pidan el agravio y fuerza que los Capitanes de infantería hacen y han hecho, en tomar las casas de morada que tiene en dicha ciudad, las cuales cada día se van deteriorando y en cuya razón pidan lo que les pareciere convenir, haciendo los pedimientos necesarios.
