Don Francisco Antonio Díaz y Herrero, vecino de España y residente en este pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que el 28 de abril de 1773 compró a doña María Sebastiana de Campos y Arraido, viuda de don Gabriel de Arteaga, una casa de cal y piedra con sus techos de azoteas, ubicada en la Calle Real de este pueblo, con 20 varas de frente y 66 varas y ¾ de fondo, al precio de 4, 792 pesos 5 y medio reales, compra que declara hizo por orden y dinero de sus hermanos don Carlos Díaz y Herrero y don Sebastián Díaz y Herrero, a quienes les pertenece en dominio y propiedad.
