El Alférez Sebastián de Flores Moreno, el Capitán Miguel Jerónimo López de Ontanar, el Capitán Antonio de Campo, el Alférez Juan Meléndez Favio, don Álvaro de Paredes y Valdéz, José Ramos de Bustos, Diego de la Torre Arnate, entre otros vecinos de Jalapa, dijeron que por noticia que les ha llegado, el Capitán don Luis Fernández de la Flor y Pareja, Caballero del Militar Orden de Santiago, ha sido notificado salga de ella so pena pecuniaria, y atendiendo a las buenas partes, calidades y méritos que concurren en él, otorgan poder especial a José de Ledezma, Procurador del Número de la Real Audiencia, para que los represente y parezca ante la Real Audiencia y demás tribunales que convengan y pida la corroboración y enmiendas expresando los fundamentos, motivos y razones de la noticia que les ha llegado.
