Don Pedro de Garay, residente en Jalapa, como fiador y obligado que se constituye de don Miguel de Lizardi residente en la ciudad de Veracruz, otorga poder especial a don José María Azcoitia, vecino de la Ciudad y Corte de México, para que de mancomún con don Remigio Fernández, vecino de esta última ciudad, y don Juan Casimiro de Osta, Marqués de Rivas Cacho, lo obliguen y constituyan como fiador de la cantidad de 20 o 25 mil pesos que ha de sacar a premio regular para el enunciado don Miguel de Lizardi.
