Don José de Sarabia y Pastor, capitán graduado de teniente coronel retirado, residente en esta villa, otorga poder especial a doña Manuela María Gil, de la ciudad de la Habana, para que en su nombre y como padre legítimo de su menor hijo don Francisco, se presente en el obispado, provisorato, juzgado eclesiástico o cualquier otro tribunal secular superior o inferior, donde corresponda y sea necesario, a demandar y percibir los productos de la capellanía que por muerte del presbítero don José María Fonte, que recayó en su citado hijo, fundada por Manuel de Santa Cruz y su mujer Ana Josefa Cotilla.
