El Capitán Don Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros, dueño de este ingenio y poseedor del mayorazgo impuesto en el ingenio de la Santísima Trinidad, habiéndose convenido con su tío Don Diego Hernández de la Higuera, vecino de la ciudad de México, quien tiene una renta de 3 000 pesos anuales en el dicho mayorazgo, en rebajarle 1 000 pesos anuales durante ocho años desde el año de 1637; y por las muchas necesidades de su tío, no le ha descontado cosa alguna, y deseando el Capitán Don Sebastián de la Higuera ayudarle para ir pagando a sus acreedores, le perdona y hace gracia y donación de los 8 000 pesos para no descontárselos de su renta.
