El Capitán Juan Ricardo de Guzmán, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que por medio de un poder para testar otorgó libertad a José, muchacho negro de 14 a 16 años, el cual por vía de codicilio manda a revocar, indicando que nuevamente sea esclavo al servicio de su hijo José, por el tiempo de 8 años, y una vez cumplidos ordena que sus albaceas le otorguen libertad.
