El Tesorero Diego de Gamboa, vecino de Jalapa, como principal deudor, y Juan López Ruiz Matamoros, dueño del ingenio nombrado San Sebastián Maxtlatlan, y arrendatario de la mitad del dicho ingenio, como su fiador, se obligaron a pagar a Diego Martín Guerra, vecino de este pueblo, 550 pesos 7 tomines de oro común, los cuales le ha dado al referido principal en reales y géneros de su tienda en esta manera: 300 pesos para desde hoy día de la fecha en un año, y los 250 pesos 7 tomines restantes, para de allí en seis meses.
