Francisco Hernández de la Higuera, dueño del ingenio Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, en esta provincia, como principal deudor, y Andrés Pérez de la Higuera, dueño del Ingenio La Santísima Trinidad, como su fiador, dieron su poder cumplido a Don Juan Ochoa de Lejalde y Reynoso y al Lic. Alonso Díaz de Herrera, vecinos de la ciudad de Los Angeles, y a Juan de Castillete, vecino de México, para que representando sus personas puedan comprar oro y plata labradas o por labrar en la cantidad de pesos que les pareciere ser necesario, y una vez hecha barata y salida de ellos, quede de lo procedido horros de daños y costas hasta la cantidad de 10, 000 pesos de oro común.
