Don Manuel Antonio Ortiz de Zárate, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, otorga que ha recibido de doña María Merced de Thormes y de doña Micaela de Thormes, hermanas de esta vecindad, 400 pesos en dinero de contado, que le han prestado, mismos que se obliga a tener en su poder como depósito irregular por tiempo de 5 años y pagar los réditos correspondientes a razón de 5 % anuales, y para seguridad del pago, hipoteca su casa de cal, canto y ladrillo, hecha en solar que hubo de manos de Francisco de Escalona, deslindada en esta escritura.
