Catalina Pérez de Villanueva, viuda de Juan Díaz de la Cueva, vecina de Jalapa, puso por aprendiz a su hijo Francisco Díaz Villanueva, de 18 años de edad, con Francisco García, maestro examinado en el oficio de herrero, vecino de Jalapa, por tiempo de dos años y medio, durante los cuales le enseñará el dicho oficio, le dará de comer, vestir y curar en sus enfermedades, y al término de los dos años y medio, le ha de dar buen oficial en el oficio de herrero; por su parte, la otorgante se obligó a que dicho menor no se ausentará del servicio, y si se ausentare, sea traído a su costa y compelido con rigor de prisionero.
