El Gobernador y Oficiales del pueblo de San Pedro Chiconquiaco, dijeron a través de su intérprete Francisco Montero, que en cumplimiento a lo mandado por Su Majestad acerca de que haya escuela de lengua castellana en todos los pueblos, por lo que se obligan a pagar a Pablo de León Molina, la cantidad de 80 pesos anuales, enseñando la doctrina cristiana, a leer y escribir la lengua castellana, las muchachas desde los 5 a 10 años y los muchachos desde dicha edad hasta que se casen, durante 2 años.
