El Bachiller Manuel de Estrada, Presbítero residente en el pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que el Capitán Antonio de Campo, con poder del Capitán Juan de Malpica, su yerno, le vendió un esclavo nombrado Nicolás de Campos que será de 50 años, en 330 pesos de oro común, 180 de ellos le pagó de contado y los 150 restantes los debía haber pagado a los 8 meses después de su venta, pero no ha cumplido con ello, por tanto han convenido en transigir y cancelar la escritura de venta y que el esclavo vuelva a restituirse al dominio del Capitán Juan de Malpica devolviendo los 180 pesos.
