Don Juan Martín López, natural del pueblo de Huamantla jurisdicción de Tlaxcala y vecino de esta Villa de Xalapa, hijo legítimo de don Diego Manuel López y de doña Juana Gertrudis de la Barrera difuntos, otorga su testamento donde declara que ha sido casado tres veces, la primera con Ana Josefa de Tornes, con quien no tuvo hijos; la segunda con Vicencia Josefa de Rojas con quien tuvo 8 hijos de los que murieron 6; y la tercera con María de Jesús Domínguez, viva, con quien no ha tenido hijos. Nombra como albacea a su yerno Pedro Nolasco González.Nombra como herederas universales a sus dos hijas; del remanente del quinto de sus bienes lo lega a su esposa María de Jesús Domínguez. Declara que sus bienes, deudas, derechos y acciones lo sabe su albacea.
