El Tesorero Gaspar de los Reyes, vecino de Jalapa, declara que habrá 18 años que compro un solar a la salida de Jalapa, yendo al llano de Macuiltepetl, a Francisco Camacho y a su mujer Juana de la Cruz, negros libres, vecinos que fueron de La Antigua Veracruz, en 20 pesos; pero en realidad, dicho solar lo compró para Francisco de los Santos, y éste edificó en él casas y vivió en ellas hasta que murió, las cuales heredaron su mujer Jacinta Domínguez y sus hijos legítimos; y ahora los susodichos herederos desean venderlas y no tiene instrumentos legales; atento a ello, por la presente, dijo que tales bienes nunca fueron del otorgante, sino del referido Francisco de los Santos.
