El Presbítero José Joaquín de la Pedreguera Morales, vecino de esta Villa de Xalapa, hijo de uno de los herederos del Teniente Coronel José Antonio de la Pedreguera, otorga poder especial a su hermano político don José Simón de la Portilla y Cabello, Teniente de Milicias y vecino de esta Villa, para que en su nombre, en el juicio divisorio de los bienes de dicho su padre que esta por concluirse, parezca y reciba traslado de dicho juicio si se mandase correr con él, alegue de su derecho, apruebe o repruebe lo que hay hecho o se hiciere, y cobre y reciba lo que le pertenece.
