Calixto Ventura López, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que el Capitán Francisco Esteban de Malpica Ponce de León, Alcalde Ordinario y de la Santa Hermandad de la Villa de Atlixco, le dio poder para vender o aplicarse un mulato esclavo de color cocho nombrado Marcos Serrano, soltero de 28 años más o menos, que compró de Diego García Serrano, vecino y labrador en dicha villa, en virtud del poder compra el mencionado esclavo en 300 pesos de oro común, que ha distribuido como le tenía ordenado.
