Juan de Aparicio, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que tiene otorgada carta de libertad a Francisca de Yépez, mulata esclava, en cuya escritura se puso la condición de que la alimentaría de acuerdo a sus posibilidades, pero hallándose pobre, no puede cumplir con la mencionada condición por lo que la da por cancelada, rota y sin ningún efecto de valor, para que así pueda usar de su libertad.
